Take Care
The next few months will inevitably be tricky. It’s important to take care of ourselves and others. Here are 20 things to reduce your stress and to help you make the most of being at home 💛
1. Morning Yoga, a great to set you up for the day.
2. No dodgy office radio required when work you work at home. Listen to your favourite uplifting music or podcasts all day whilst working.
3. Take comfort in enjoying lunch and a brew cwtched up on your sofa – maybe even sneak in a short siesta! A perk of home working.
4. Not working right now? Learn a new craft. Top of our list is needle punching. Or a new instrument! Or language!
5. Or snuggle up with a good book and free your mind.
6. Start some gratitude practise. And/or practise some meditation.
7. When the sun is shining sit by the window and catch some vitamin D.
8. Hydrate. hydrate. hydrate.
9. Don’t text. Call your nearest and dearest. We’re all in this together and talking helps. Call, or if possible Face Time, your Grand Parents, they’ll appreciate seeing your face more than you know.
10. Detach from the media, instead play a board game with your family.
11. Enjoy a nice relaxing bath.
12. Or some pampering, a nice home facial or a hair treatment.
13. Get those colouring books and pens back out and get creative.
14. Diffuse some of your favourite essential oils.
15. Enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner in with your other half.
16. Or family movie night on the sofa with some homemade popcorn!
17. Get organised and sort out all those odds and ends in the house. The stuff you’ve been putting off for ages!
18. Bake a cake and then enjoy a slice with a good brew.
19. Take time to ponder and plan, get those ideas on paper and start a brand new and improved set of personal/professional goals. Don’t forget to include the steps to make them happen!
20. Arrange a little pick me up for those in need. Send a card? A bunch of flowers? Check-in on your vulnerable neighbours to make sure they’re ok, a little note through the door will be sure to bring a smile.
