Report Card Arrival.
Many of you will know that in January this year we supported the education of our first girl, Irma. We’re always pleased to share updates with you, as you helped us make it happen after all!
Last term Irma had an amazing average of 84% across all of her subjects and we’re pleased to announce that this term she has done even better with an average of 89% – wow!
As a brief back story incase you missed it, Irma is 14 and lives in rural Guatemala, she’s studying a range of subjects at her local village school, not that dissimilar to subjects we learn right here in the UK.
Fashion really can be used as a tool to deliver good, if people choose kind and choose better. By educating girls just like Irma in Guatemala, you are creating an opportunity for younger generations; increasing the likelihood of the child living a healthy life, overcoming gender inequality, contributing to economic growth and becoming superheroes in their own communities.
If you want to get involved you can make a purchase in our store and share our story on your social channels, encouraging your friends to get involved as well! At least 10% of our end of year profits are invested into getting more girls into school. We hope to support Irma and (fingers crossed) many of her friends for years to come.
