Haiti/Leather Products.
To reduce waste our artisan partners in Haiti use all parts of the hide to create our bags & purses.
This leather is vegetable tanned, full grain cow hide. Slight colour and grain variations may occur due to the natural nature of the leather, making every item unique. The natural characteristics means it will become more beautiful with age.
You can condition your item with a neutral leather conditioner of your choice when you feel it needs more love. Avoid continuous exposure to heat & direct sunlight, & getting the leather wet. Should your item become wet, dry with a soft, dry cloth. Take care when wearing with light coloured garments to avoid colour transfer.
Your item is handmade so treat with the love it deserves, but don’t be nervous to live fully with it, that is what it’s for.
Guatemala/Woven/Crochet Products.
Many of the traditional skills used by our Guatemalan partners such as backstrap weaving, are passed down from generation to generation and are most often taught to young girls by mothers and grandmothers. This means items holds much history and culture with finished pieces often displaying exquisite levels of colour with pattern.
To keep your product looking it’s best we recommend spot cleaning with a mild detergent & air drying. Avoid continuous exposure to heat & direct sunlight. Should your item become wet, dry with a soft, dry cloth. Take care when wearing with light coloured garments to avoid colour transfer. To keep the shape of a Weekender, fill with tissue paper and store appropriately.

India/Silk/Cotton Products.
This beautiful item is designed and made with the intention to preserve, promote and celebrate the art of Block Printing, a traditional technique passed down through generations, which in India dates as far back as mid 17th Century!
To keep your product looking it’s best we recommend washing with similar colours, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent at 30º, followed by air drying.
Scarves can be finished with a warm iron.
Do not iron Toiletry Bags and ensure there trims are securely zipped inside before washing.
